Install VMware Workstation on Parrot OS

Hello Felas,

Open a terminal with and type the command:

sudo apt install gcc-8

Download the Workstation Pro for Linux in the below link:

https://www.vmware.com/products/workstation-pro/workstation-pro-evaluation.html

Than come back to the terminal and go to the directory of the downlaod, like the example above:

cd Downloads

At this point we type this command:

chmod +x VMware-Workstation-Full-15.5.6-16341506.x86_64.bundle

Now we should have root access into our terminal:

su

And now we are ready for the installation:

./VMware-Workstation-Full-15.5.6-16341506.x86_64.bundle

I leave the default port

We are testing the VMware Workstation Pro 15.5 functionalities in our Lab so we will choose to try it for 30 days.

To finish the installation we need to provide the root password.

Done, enjoty VMware Workstation Pro 15.5

Important: Please notice that the names of the directories it may differ, change them accordly before you type the commands.
