What is Steganography? [CompTIA Security+ ]


 Is the process of taking data and hidden in other data. One of the most popular techniques is 'least significant bit (LSB) steganography. 


The word steganography is of Greek origin and means "concealed writing" from the Greek words steganos meaning "covered or protected, and graphein meaning "writing". 



Referring to Steganography the data not necessary need to be encrypted but can be only hidden. In fact one of the common uses of Steganography is to hide plain text into graphic images. To do this it's possible to use tools such as "Image Steganography" select the imagine and write the text and start the encode.
